Voice reading
Listen to lessons, assistant responses and compatible learning content. Start, pause or stop reading, select an available voice and adjust the speed. Automatic reading is optional.
Mandragore Learning Academy strives to make its training accessible to as many people as possible. Its Learning Workspaces offer voice reading, dictation and text customization tools. These features complement our individualized support; if you need a specific accommodation, contact us to explore possible adjustments.
Listen to lessons, assistant responses and compatible learning content. Start, pause or stop reading, select an available voice and adjust the speed. Automatic reading is optional.
Ask questions or answer without a keyboard when free-text input and microphone access are enabled. Send using the button or a recognized voice command. A period of silence alone never triggers automatic sending.
Adjust text size, contrast and spacing to suit your preferences. The chatbot’s configured font is preserved.
Listen to questions and answer by dictation. For an A, B or C multiple-choice question, a phrase such as “letter B” or “option A” may be reduced to the corresponding letter. If the transcription is uncertain, check the displayed answer and use the Send button.
Courses are offered in French, English and Spanish. Voice reading and dictation use the Learning Workspace language. Voice features have been tested in our FR, EN and ES environments; results depend on the voices and services available on the device.
Prefer a recent, up-to-date browser. Technical API availability does not guarantee that a feature will work on every device.
| Browser | Voice feature status |
|---|---|
| Chrome (recent version) | Tested in our Learning Workspace environment |
| Edge (recent version) | Tested in our Learning Workspace environment |
| Safari / iOS (recent version) | To be checked by device and version; dictation may be limited |
| Firefox (recent version) | Voice reading depends on the environment; dictation not guaranteed |
| Brave (recent version) | To be checked based on browser settings and voice services |
No minimum version number is claimed until that exact version has been tested. Chrome and Edge tests do not validate all operating systems universally.
Dictation requires microphone permission and may depend on an Internet connection or the browser provider’s speech-recognition service. In some environments, audio may be sent to that service. Accuracy varies with background noise, accent, language and microphone quality; single letters may be misrecognized. If dictation is unavailable, keyboard input and the Send button remain available.
Enabled accessibility features are optional: automatic reading is not imposed. Previously saved personal preferences are kept when available in the browser. Text remains visible while voice reading is used.
You can tell us about your needs before training starts or at any point during your course. We will review your request with you to identify solutions compatible with the training, the tools used and your circumstances.
For any accessibility question or accommodation request:
Your request will be handled confidentially and only to the extent necessary to assess the accommodation.
Accommodations are considered case by case. Depending on the training and expressed needs, they may include:
Every situation is different. An accommodation request does not automatically mean that the same solution can be provided for every course. Our aim is to assess needs individually and seek a suitable, realistic response.
These tools aim to make training easier to use, but do not by themselves guarantee compatibility with every assistive technology or accessibility in every learning situation. Contact us if you encounter a difficulty.
